"Power of Culture" Projects

Under the direction of former Commissioner KAWAI Hayao, the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Japan is promoting projects to augment the “Power of Culture” (the power that a culture possesses to promote the development of an attractive society by encouraging people and invigorating local communities) of each region and invigorate Japanese society as a whole in collaboration with the parties concerned in each region.
