Lists of Public-interest Corporations Sanctioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology

  This section provides a list of public-interest corporations sanctioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, that are involved in culture and the arts. Because different divisions and departments have responsibility for different cultural and artistic fields, links are grouped by division and department.

  • 日本NPOセンター NPO法人データベース「NPOヒロバ」/Database of Japanese nonprofits "NPO-Hiroba" operated by the Japan NPO Center
    •   Database of Japanese nonprofits operated by the Japan NPO Center (approved as a designated Specified nonprofit corporation in June 1999), which was established in November 1996 to work as an infrastructure organization for the private nonprofit sector by strengthening the social infrastructure underpinning nonprofits, and establishing new partnerships with corporations and government as joint leaders in the creation of civil society. "NPO-Hiroba", a database of nonprofits, lets you search for nonprofits throughout Japan. Detailed information provided on a voluntary basis by individual nonprofits is also available.
