6月5日、福田かおる文部科学大臣政務官はウズベキスタン共和国のリザエフ・シュフラティラ文化省映画制作庁長官の表敬訪問を受けました。

福田大臣政務官は、リザエフ長官とのオンライン会談及びゴディロフ同庁国際関係発展局長の訪問を歓迎し、これまで進めてきた日本とウズベキスタンとの間の映画の共同制作に対する感謝を述べるとともに、映画制作をはじめとしたデジタルクリエイティブ分野における両国間の連携・協力が深まることへの期待を述べました。

リザエフ長官は、ウズベキスタンでは国を挙げて映画制作に力を入れていることに触れつつ、引き続き両国間での映画の共同制作を積極的に進めていきたい旨を述べられました。

また、ゴディロフ国際関係発展局長からは、アニメーション制作についても協力関係を深めていきたい旨の考えを示されました。

On June 5, Ms. Kaoru Fukuda, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, received a courtesy call from Mr. Shukhratulla Rizayev, Director of the Cinematography Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Parliamentary Vice-Minister Fukuda welcomed the opportunity to meet with Director Rizayev online, as well as the visit to Japan by Mr. Godylov, Chief Specialist of the International Relations Development Department. She expressed her appreciation for the ongoing bilateral cooperation between Japan and Uzbekistan in film co-production, and conveyed her expectation that collaboration between the two countries in the digital creative sector, including film production, will be further strengthened.

Director Rizayev noted that Uzbekistan has been promoting film production as a national priority and expressed his intention to continue actively advancing joint film productions between Japan and Uzbekistan.

In addition, Mr. Godylov, Director of the Department for the Development of International Relations, conveyed his intention to further strengthen cooperation in the field of animation production.
